Title track 'Acid Box', produced by Ventah, is clash between jungle, hardcore and footwork, known as UK Footwork. At 162bpm, this track brings up the tempos of traditional footwork, and combines it with a hardcore banging kick, showing off an emerging UK Footwork artist. This track is receiving airplay on Sub FM and Flightstream Radio.
On his Juke Jungle remix, Bristol's Wellbelove keeps things sparse and edgy. Channeling a mixture of footwork, breakbeat and trap, Wellbelove concocts an experimental blend of 808 funk with 93 darkcore rising. Add some 303 and Phuture twists, and you get a genre-walking 160 Bass steppa that pays full respect to the Chicago innovators.
In his remix, The Stench brings a European element to the release. Hailing from Croatia, and with a background in all things hardcore, The Stench turns 'Acid Box' into a relentless, rapid monster of a track. This remix is unlike any other in the EP, ramping up the BPM, 180 to be exact. The Stench brings you the newest form of the underground European Hardcore Techno in this very unique remix.
The 'Otherside Inside Mix' brings the tempo down to a bouncy 127, bringing a house feel to the release. Expect deep, housey vibes on this one.
The 'Ambientwork Mix' combines trap infused beats with ambient soundscapes, flowing along at 78/156bpm.
