about

Regent Cid | soundcloud.com/regent-cid

After hearing Footwork on a soundsystem in Bristol, Regent Cid was compelled to produce some. These two tracks are some of that output. With tempos slightly faster than the standard 160bpm, these two tracks blend influences from Footwork, Juke and Jungle.

Fodder is a big track that sounds good on any soundsystem. With hints of Footwork, Jungle and Reggae, this is hardhitting UK sounds at their best. The Raid is also hard and driving, with a big bassline. It explores many different rhythms, all while keeping that distinctive UK vibe.
